Over the past twenty years I have served as an advisor to firms, regional and national governments, and international organizations such as the United Nations and the European Commission on issues relating to talent attraction and retention, innovation, creativity (creative cities, creative industries, etc.), regional economic development, regional innovation, urban economics, etc.

I have coordinated research teams and projects aimed at building indicators, international benchmarks and rankings. I also advise companies and investors interested in investing in Italy, supporting them in their market and non-market strategies.
